The Macallan Terra tells the story of a discovery through a complex yet balanced single malt, aged in exclusively selected oak casks filled for the first time with sherry, whose journey spans some 10,000 miles.
Matured exclusively in first-fill European and American oak barrels from two of the most illustrious family-owned cooperages, The Macallan Terra pays homage to the finest oak wood that has previously contained sherry from both continents.
Celebrating the wonders of spirits maturation, this whiskey boasts a distinctive character with hints of toffee, sweet dried fruit and intense wood-borne spice, revealing the intensity of the first-fill oak in which our search is inspired.
With the image of the bark of the oak, The Macallan Terra indicates the discovery of the journey, which is rooted in a decisive moment.
