The Macallan Classic Cut - 2017 Release is the first in a new series of annual expressions that celebrate our ongoing commitment to the pursuit of the extraordinary, which drives us to create whiskeys with unique character. This whiskey brings a special interpretation of The Macallan and offers an indulgent character with a satisfyingly long finish.
The Macallan Classic Cut - 2017 Release is the first in a new series of annual editions and has been created to reveal a unique character and timeless spirit. This whiskey matured exclusively in carefully selected European and American oak barrels seasoned in sherry from the homonymous region of Spain. It was then bottled to fully release its unique flavor profile. This limited edition brings a special and memorable interpretation of The Macallan. Thanks to its combination of flavors of caramel, orange zest and a hint of nutmeg spice, as well as a satisfyingly long finish, the result is an indulgent single malt whiskey with a sweet and spicy character.
