An authentic rum from the Dominican Republic and aged at an eXtra Old age. Recently added to the Alegre Wines&Spirits family catalogue, Ron Alegre XO is a new project by Toni Omedes Alegre, the fourth generation of this family dedicated to wines and spirits.
A rum aged for 10 years in American oak barrels previously used for sherry, with a beautiful mahogany colour, a harmonious and balanced nose with hints of plum brandy and cognac cherries, white fruit and toasted sugar. On the palate it is refined, smooth and glyceric. Don't be fooled by its age, even though it is an old rum, its freshness will invite you to fill your glass once again...
