Their journey begins over five hundred years ago in the heart of the Paraguayan jungle. The Jesuits have traversed across unforgiving terrain, down the Río Paraná and deep into the great Río de la Plata basin. Their arduous journey ends in Asuncíon, a subtropical haven nestled between the Brazilian highlands to the north, the Andes Mountains to the west, and Patagonia to the south.
